We're seeking compassionate Disability Support Workers to assist participants with daily living, personal care, and community access in Toowoomba . You'll support people living with mental illness, intellectual, or physical disabilities - helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-quality support in line with participant care plans
- Assist with personal care , including hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support meal preparation, medication prompts, and household tasks
- Promote independent living skills and daily routine management
- Facilitate community access - attending appointments, recreational, and social activities
- Encourage positive behaviour support and emotional wellbeing




- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in line with NDIS standards
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and allied health professionals
- Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy protocols
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and respectful team setting

Requirements

- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services (students welcome)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Driver’s Licence (own vehicle with insurance preferred)
- WWCC/Blue Card , First Aid & CPR , and National Police Check
- COVID-19 vaccination in line with current health directives
