About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and suitably qualified Visual Arts Teacher to join our Junior School team in 2027 on a Fixed Term contract for the 2027 academic year. This role involves teaching Visual Arts across Prep to Year 6, four (4) days per week, nurturing creativity, imagination, and artistic skills while helping students develop confidence in self-expression and a lifelong appreciation of the arts.





The successful candidate will create rich and engaging learning experiences that allow students to participate in the creative process, explore a variety of visual art forms, and celebrate their artistic achievements. They will also contribute to the broader life of the College through involvement in events such as art showcases and the development of opportunities that extend students' learning beyond the classroom.

About You:

A passionate and qualified Visual Arts Teacher with a heart for young learners and a strong personal faith, you bring creativity, enthusiasm, and energy to the classroom. You have the skills and knowledge to teach Visual Arts across Prep to Year 6, designing engaging experiences that encourage creativity, artistic exploration, and self-expression.

You are an effective communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues and works collaboratively as part of a team. Confident in your teaching practice,



you meet the standards outlined in the Australian Skilled Standards for Teachers and hold (or are eligible to obtain) current Queensland Teacher Registration and a First Aid Certificate.
