Berwick College is a Year 7-12 coeducational school with a student population of approximately 1600 students. The College is located on Bunurong Country, in the beautiful southeastern suburb of Berwick.

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated highly developed computer and word processing skills, including experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications particularly Word, Excel and Teams.
Demonstrated high level organisational and planning skills with an ability to meet the challenges of a very busy office with the ability to take direction, and to prioritise tasks within timelines.
Demonstrated highly developed communication skills and experience in the role of Receptionist including demonstrated knowledge of a NEC phone system.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team member in a very busy and multi skilled environment
Demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including colleagues, teachers, students and parents.
Role
Provide excellent data entry, word processing and general office skills to support and maintain the focus of Berwick College.
Maintain procedures and initiate positive improvements to enhance the smooth running of the school¿s administration area.
Demonstrate high standards of service excellence.Work to maintain and enhance relationships within the school community.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to team members as needed.
Provide excellent data entry, word processing and general office skills to where required
- Receptionist duties as required with telephone calls and mail and delivering excellent customer service
General office duties as required.
- Photocopying duties including exam photocopying
- Ordering and purchase of office supplies
- Coordinating staff room milk and beverage supplies, including raising purchase orders, placing orders, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring continuous availability.
- Managing student monitors, their tasks and responsibilities.
- Responsible for the (PA) system: making announcements and activating and deactivating the evacuation system when required.
- Looking after State Schools Relief Applications ¿ Once application is received making sure it is processed under right category and forwarding it to the right person.
- Provided backup support for Accounts Receivable as required.
- Managing incoming and outgoing school correspondence and ensuring it is distributed to the appropriate staff members in a timely manner
- Filing
Any other duties as required by the Business Manager/Principal
