What you will be doing & delivering

As a Glasshouse Operations Leading Hand, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of glasshouse operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. As a frontline leadership support role, you will lead by example on the floor, providing guidance, training, coordination, and support to operational teams while assisting the Glasshouse Operations Supervisor in delivering productivity, safety, quality and labour performance outcomes.

- Team Leadership: Support the coordination of daily team activities, model strong work standards, and support onboarding and training
- Operations Delivery: Assist with coordinating daily glasshouse priorities, monitor work quality and productivity, and support the team.
- Safety & Compliance: Champion safe work practices and support the implementation of safety improvements
- Reporting & Admin:



Ensure accurate and timely data entry on labour and production

What You’ll Bring to the Role

- Experience in horticulture, FMCG, manufacturing, agriculture, or a similar operational environment
- Positive leadership capabilitiesand attitudewith proven ability to support, train and guide team members in a hands-on workplace
- Robust organisation and coordination skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to interpret data and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and operational systems
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong communicationand relationship-building skills.
- Committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Reliable, accountable, and takes ownership whilst being proactive and solutions focused.
