Job Description

We're on the lookout for a caring and empathetic Disability Day Services Practitioners to support people with disability through engaging, person‑centred day programs that promote independence, confidence, and personal growth.

In this role, you'll support the delivery of day centre activities and active supports tailored to individual abilities, strengths, and circumstances. You'll bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage documentation and program records, and experience supporting people with varying disabilities, including behaviours of concern, while creating protected, inclusive, and meaningful experiences.

As a Disability Day Services Practitioner, You'll

- Support clients in a range of meaningful activities, including arts & crafts, community access, games, movies, adventure‑based learning, and more.




- Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, hygiene, and meal support.
- Promote community inclusion by identifying opportunities based on client interests.
- Encourage participation in community activities with support ratios between 1:1 and 1:4.
- Help build physical health, communication skills, teamwork, self‑confidence, and overall wellbeing.
- Maintain program documentation, file notes, and other required records.

About The Candidate

- Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate - but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
