Secondary School Tutors Wanted (Sydney Campus)

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions (maximum 2 students) to Year 7–Year 12 students. Teach students according to NSW Curriculum and NESA syllabus requirements across subjects including HSC English, EAL/D English, English Advanced, Secondary English, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Up-to-date History, and Mathematics (Advanced & Extension 1-2).

Key responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions (maximum 2 students)
- Teach students according to NSW Curriculum and NESA syllabus requirements
- Prepare lesson materials, class notes, and weekly homework (resources may also be provided from SEDI's teaching database)
- Support students through structured lessons, exam preparation, and targeted feedback
- Communicate with the academic team regarding student progress and learning plans

About you

- Strong knowledge and understanding of one or more subjects listed above
- Familiarity with NSW Curriculum and HSC syllabus requirements is highly preferred
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred




- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Responsible, organised, and committed to student improvement
- Passionate about education and supporting students' academic development
