About the Role
We are seeking an experienced THQ Concierge, Location – THQ Redfern for a Permanent opportunity.
Purpose of the Role: The THQ Concierge is responsible for creating a welcoming and secure environment at The Salvation Army's Territorial Headquarters in Redfern. The role manages reception and foyer operations, provides exceptional visitor support, assists people seeking welfare or pastoral assistance, and delivers administrative support to the Property Department.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide professional front desk, reception, and building administration support, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment.
- Assist visitors with enquiries and connect them to appropriate welfare, pastoral, or organisational services.
- Support the Property & Facilities Team with administrative tasks, access card management, and facility operations.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, stock ordering, inventory records, and end-of-month reporting.
- Manage pool and staff vehicle key administration on behalf of Fleet Management.
- Maintain building security and participate in emergency response activities as a member of the Warden Team.
Education and Qualifications Required
Experience in a reception, concierge, customer service, or administration role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a diverse range of visitors professionally and compassionately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using office systems and access control technology. Ability to maintain security procedures,
participate in emergency response activities, and undertake the physical requirements of the role.

A National Criminal History Check is required
