Expression of Interest - Primary Teachers 2027
Canterbury College is one of Queensland’s leading Anglican ELC–12 schools, located in the rapidly growing corridor spanning Logan, the northern Gold Coast, the Scenic Rim and southern Brisbane.
Since 1987, Canterbury has deliberately built a culture that is both high-performing and deeply human. Our students are known not only for their academic outcomes, but for the way they contribute across the full life of the College. We believe that the best education is balanced, ambitious and future-focused, where learning extends beyond the classroom and where every student is challenged to grow.
At Canterbury, this is captured through our commitment to the Four Dimensions: Academics, Sport, Performing Arts and Character, Leadership and Service (CLS). These are not add-ons; they are integral to how we design learning, build community and develop confident, capable young people who are ready for the world beyond school.
At Canterbury, you will teach students who bring energy and focus to their learning. Our young people are known for being kind, polite and motivated, and for their willingness to embrace challenge and pursue excellence across all areas of College life.
This culture is reflected in our outcomes. In 2025, 54% of our Year 12 cohort achieved an ATAR of 90 or higher, and our Year 9 NAPLAN performance placed Canterbury among the top coeducational independent schools in Queensland and the highest-performing school in Logan. These results are not incidental, they reflect a consistent, whole-school commitment to high standards, strong teaching and a balanced, ambitious education across the Four Dimensions.
We are now inviting expressions of interest from educators who are energised by this kind of environment, teachers who set high standards for themselves and for their students, who value collaboration and professionalism, and who are excited to be part of a school that is continuing to evolve.
