We're looking for a mid-level to senior paralegal to assist our team of family lawyers. Our new colleague would already have paralegal experience, demonstrate excellent task management skills and have a commitment to their own and the firm’s continued qualified and financial success.

We have a close team who enjoy working together and so our favoured candidate would work well with their colleagues and be prepared to provide mentoring opportunities for junior staff.

Our principal has been practicing family law in Australia for over 24 years and has acted in disputes involving large and complex asset pools.

Qualifications & experience

4+ years' experience as a paralegal, preferably in the family law area.

Excellent relationships with colleagues.





Familiarity with disclosure and assistance with family law balance sheets.

Self-motivated and proactive

Excellent interpersonal skills and client presentation.

Tasks & responsibilities

Assisting family law team in all the usual paralegal responsibilities.

Disclosure.

File organisation and preparation.

Assisting solicitors with preparation of court documents including affidavits.

Working with client alongside solicitors.

Match and fit in with the culture and expectation of the team

Working with an excellent team.

Exposure to wide range of family law matters including large and complex asset pools.
