Registered Nurse - Child & Family Health / Community Nursing - 10-20k Incentives Offered

About the role

The successful applicant will be a qualified Child and Family Health Nurse with strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience in community nursing is desirable; however, applicants with a strong Child and Family Health background and a willingness to develop skills in community nursing are encouraged to apply.

The role includes providing Child and Family Health Nursing services including 1–4 week newborn home visits, early childhood development assessments, immunisation services, family support and health promotion. The role also includes Community Nursing activities such as wound care, ambulatory care, home visits, palliative care support and care coordination. The successful applicant will work across the local community, including outreach to Quandialla, and have the opportunity to develop skills across both Child and Family Health and Community Nursing services.





Occasional weekend work may be required as part of the Community Nursing service requirements. You will have a current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes. The successful applicant will also be required to provide outreach services to Quandialla as required.

You will be joining a supportive Primary and Community Health team consisting of nursing, allied health and administrative staff who work collaboratively to provide quality care to the local community.
