We are seeking a professional, motivated and well-presented Registered Nurse to join our friendly and supportive medical centre located in Harris Park. This position is available on a Part time or Full-Time basis and would suit a Registered Nurse who is organised, reliable and confident working within a busy general practice environment. Reporting to the Practice Manager and working closely with our doctors and administrative team, you will assist in managing the treatment room and provide high-quality nursing care and exceptional service to our patients.

Key responsibilities

- Triaging patients and assisting with clinical assessments
- Wound care, dressings and wound management
- Administering immunisations and vaccinations
- Conducting health checks and other general practice nursing duties
- Assisting doctors with procedures and patient care as required
- Managing and maintaining the treatment room
- Responding to general patient enquiries
- Booking and coordinating patient appointments




- Assisting with telephone reception duties when required
- Coordinating appointments between doctors, allied health professionals and patients

About you

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn practice software
- A professional, reliable and motivated approach to workThe ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Previous experience in general practice or a medical centre is desirable but not essential
