Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Cert3 or Diploma Permanent Educator to join our team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for our children.

Led by Bec, our experienced Centre Manager with 19 years in early childhood, the team is passionate about creating meaningful, play-based learning experiences where educators can share ideas, build relationships, and grow together.

With the train station, primary school, local shops and playground all within walking distance, educators have plenty of opportunities to connect children with their community through walks and excursions.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children's learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children




- Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
- Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
- Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning workplace

About you

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build solid relationships with Educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements

- An ACECQA recognised Cert3 or Diploma or higher
- Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
