About the Role

As Project Manager , you will have end-to-end responsibility for the successful delivery of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, working closely with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors and the internal project team.

You’ll take ownership of the project from pre-construction through to practical completion and handover , ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover

- Develop, manage and monitor project programmes, milestones and sequencing

- Manage project budgets, costs, variations, forecasting and commercial performance

- Oversee subcontractor procurement, engagement and performance

- Coordinate consultants, designers and project stakeholders

- Lead design coordination and resolve project issues as they arise

- Manage client relationships and maintain explicit communication throughout delivery

- Drive programme, quality, safety and construction outcomes

- Identify, assess and manage project risks

- Lead project meetings, reporting and stakeholder communication





- Monitor project progress and implement recovery strategies where required

- Manage the project through practical completion, defects and handover

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong commercial fit-out or refurbishment background .

You’ll ideally have:

- Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects

- Experience managing projects in the $1M–$5M range

- Strong programming, sequencing and construction management capability

- Solid commercial and contractual understanding

- Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders

- Strong client and stakeholder management skills

- Experience coordinating design and resolving construction issues

- Strong financial and commercial management skills

- Excellent communication and organisational ability

- A hands-on, solutions-focused approach to project delivery

Experience across education, office or hospitality fit-outs would be particularly relevant.
