About the role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will join a tenured and knowledgeable team, where you will be planning and managing complex medium to large large scale projects. This will include coordinating and the preparation of estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets.
You will also be required to carry out examination of applications for building permits with respect to the construction of new buildings, alterations, repairs and change of occupancy in existing buildings
About you
This role will be ideal for those looking to take the next step in their career and will have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated Building Surveying experience. You will also have experience in mentoring Cadets and Graduate Building Surveyors to achieve expected outcomes.
An attractive salary, including a company will be offered to the successful candidate, as well as relocation assistance, should you be moving to Hobart from Interstate.
To be considered for this role, you must;
- Diploma OR Degree in Building Surveying
- Hold a current Unlimited Building Surveyor Licence for Tasmania or the ability to obtain
- Hold strong attention to detail skills
- Have robust verbal and written skills
