The MartinusDegnan JV is expanding its Rail Station portfolio across Southeast Queensland, and we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help deliver the next generation of rail infrastructure across the region.

This is an chance to take a leading role in the delivery of complex rail station projects across the region, working alongside an experienced team in the rail engineering sector.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of this major project from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.

You’ll work closely with clients, delivery partners, subcontractors, designers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the end-to-end delivery of rail station projects across SEQ.
- Developing and managing project programs, budgets, resources and delivery strategies.
- Providing strong leadership to project teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Managing key client, stakeholder, subcontractor and delivery partner relationships.
- Driving safety, quality and environmental outcomes across project delivery.
- Managing commercial performance, procurement, variations, risks and opportunities.
- Coordinating design, engineering and construction interfaces.




- Monitoring project performance and implementing strategies to maintain program and cost outcomes.
- Supporting the growth and development of MartinusDegnan’s rail station capability across the SEQ market.
- Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery, systems and processes.

About You

We’re looking for a Project Manager who combines strong project delivery capability with commercial acumen, leadership and a genuine passion for infrastructure.

You’ll ideally have:

- Demonstrated experience delivering major infrastructure or rail projects, ideally rail stations or associate infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
- Strong commercial, financial and contractual management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
- The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex delivery environment.
- A strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, risk and quality management.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the Queensland rail environment and familiarity with SEQ's major rail infrastructure programs will be highly regarded
