About The Role
We’relooking for a systems-savvy and outcomes-focused HR professional to join our People and Capability team as Associate Director, People Systems and Analytics.
In this role,you’llsupport the effective management and continuous improvement of the department’s people systems, workforce reporting and externalshared services,including payroll, contractormanagementand HCM platforms.You’llprovide subject matterexpertise, practical advice and hands-on support to help embed recent system changes, improve data quality and reporting, and support the team and business to transition to new ways of working.
Reporting to the Director,Talentand People Operations,you’llmanage a small team and oversee key reporting cycles, dashboards, ad hoc datarequestsand statutory workforce reporting.You’llalso contribute to the performancemonitoringand relationship management of keyservice providers, support internalgovernanceand audit requirements, and help uplift capability across the broader P&C; function through improved processes, self-service and effective use of systems and reports.
This isa great opportunityto take on a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced workplace, combining systemsexpertise, workforce insights,service provideroversight,people leadership and practical problem-solving to deliver fit-for-purpose, compliant and value-adding services.

About You
You bring a strong understanding of HR systems, workforce reporting and people operations, with experience managingshared servicesrelationships and workforce analytics in a large or complex setting, ideally with an understanding of NSW public sector operations.
You know how to get the best from shared services or providers and can confidently manage day-to-day issues while keeping longer-term improvements in focus.
You’reexperienced in systems such as SAP,Cornerstoneor similar platforms, and have a strong grasp of reporting tools such as Power BI.You’redetail-oriented but practical, with the ability to translate data and system information into transparent insights, advice and improvements that support business needs.
You enjoy leading a team, supporting capability uplift,improving processes and strengthening the way people systemsand reporting are used across the organisation.You’llbe someone who values good governance,accuratedata, sound documentation and delivering high-quality outcomes in a busy environment.
