The Role

Reporting into an entrepreneurial CEO, your duties as the Financial Controller will be broad and varied. This will include:

- Managing the full accounting function, including month-end, year-end, financial statements and compliance
- Manage process improvement initiatives, including strengthening reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local tax - prepare taxes,



including GST, PAYG, FBT, and corporate income tax returns
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting and analytical processes
- Manage a small offshore finance team
- Develop key relationships internally to better integrate finance and operations
- Work with business leaders to develop company KPIs and manage the reporting of them

Your Background

This Financial Controller role is best suited for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within a growing business. To be considered for this FC position, you will need to meet the following criteria:

- Professionally qualified (e.g. CA, CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Have established experience at the Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager level
- Proven track record of achievement in process improvement projects or systems implementation / automations is a pre-requisite
- Previously worked within a high-growth business in a hands-on role
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to liaise confidently with stakeholders
