Identity Engineer- Financial Services - Ping, Entra ID, Okta

A global financial institute is currently seeking an Identity Engineer for a permanent role.
We're looking for engineers with a strong systems background who have naturally evolved into Identity Engineering. Devops mindset is also key for this role.
This is a hybrid position- 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and operate the identity services that secure customer access to the banks platforms.
- Development of distributed identity and authentication services, supporting secure authentication, authorisation and API access at scale.
- Implement and maintain authentication and federation services using SAML, LDAP, OAuth.
- Write and maintain scripts and code to automate provisioning, configuration and operational tasks
- Collaborate closely with identity, platform and application teams to ensure systems remain secure, reliable and observable, while continuously improving engineering practices.

Key Skills / Experience

- + 3 years IAM engineer experience
- Solid understanding of identity standards and protocols such as OIDC, OAuth, and SAML.
- Successful applicants bring hands-on experience with IAM platforms like Ping, Okta, Entra ID, IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), or similar tools.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and up-to-date engineering practices
- Web and API technologies (REST, HTTP, certificates)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and SaaS technoloies
- The ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
