About Evie Networks At Evie Networks, we are building Australia's largest public electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging network. Our mission is simple: to give EV drivers the freedom to "go anywhere" with total confidence. As Australia transitions to a cleaner transport future, we are rapidly expanding our footprint across highway corridors, retail centers, quick-service restaurants (QSR), grocery hubs, and local communities. To support our ambitious national rollout targets, we are looking for a tenacious, commercial, and relationship-driven Site Acquisition Manager to help power our next phase of growth.
What You’ll Do
- Pipeline Growth & Site Selection: Identify, evaluate, and secure high-quality sites for EV charging infrastructure across retail, QSR, fuel, highway, and community precincts.
- Commercial Negotiation: Lead end-to-end commercial negotiations for leases, licenses, easements, and access agreements that meet Evie's commercial, technical, and legal standards.
- Partner & Stakeholder Management: Manage executive-level relationships with strategic property partners, acting as their key point of contact and proactively expanding pipeline opportunities within their portfolios.
- Portfolio Project Management: Drive prospective sites through due diligence, Site Feasibility Reports (SFRs), board approvals, and contract execution through to handover to our Delivery and Construction teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Legal, Network Planning & Engineering, Delivery, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution and commercial viability.
- Funding & Tender Support: Assist with property data inputs for major grant applications, funding proposals (e.g., ARENA), and co-funding programs.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ Years' Experience: Proven track record in site acquisition, commercial leasing,
or property development—ideally across retail, infrastructure, telecommunications, or energy sectors.
- Deal-Making Expertise: Demonstrated success leading and executing commercial leases, licenses, and easements with complex property portfolios.
- High-Level Stakeholder Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with experience dealing at the C-suite/executive level.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to navigate, align, and influence internal technical, legal, and financial teams without formal authority.
- Tenacious & Team-First Mindset: A creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys collaborating to win outcomes across the entire property portfolio.
Nice to Haves (Desirable)
- Existing property networks across Australian QSR, retail, fuel, or grocery sectors.
- Prior exposure to the EV charging, telecommunications, energy, or infrastructure industries.
- Working knowledge of local planning/zoning approval processes and site feasibility assessments.
- Experience using CRM, GIS, or property pipeline management tools.
- A genuine passion for sustainability and the EV transition!
Why Join Evie?
- Shape the Future: Be at the forefront of the green energy transition and build infrastructure that directly impacts carbon reduction across Australia.
- High-Growth Culture: Work alongside a cooperative, driven, and supportive team of industry specialists.
- Flexibility: Enjoy a supportive, hybrid work environment that trusts you to deliver results.
- Real Ownership: Own your portfolio end-to-end and see your deals turn into physical infrastructure on the ground.
