Deputy Director of Nursing & Midwifery Workforce

About therole:
The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Unit (currently based at Williamstown Hospital) is seeking an experienced leader to join their team in the role of Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DDONM), Workforce.
Keyresponsibilities:
The DDONM role is pivotal in supporting Nursing and Midwifery leadership teams to understand their workforce needs, leading and managing the workforce unit to facilitate the recruitment and provision of nursing and midwifery permanent and supplementary staff to ensure timely provision of care.
Aboutyou:
- A sound understanding of nursing and midwifery workforce needs and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills in a complex health care environment.
- The ability to navigate systems and documentation related to financial and workforce management.
- Experience in workforce planning, management principles and contemporary recruitment practices.
- Experience in leading change, engaging with purpose and empowering staff.
