About The Role

This temporary role will lead the development and establishment of portfolio-wide reporting and drive short-term strategic projects, governanceactivitiesand executive priorities on behalf of the Secretary. Provide strategic oversight of cross-portfolio delivery and performance reporting,and alsoco-ordinate time-limited projects related to machinery of government activities to support executive decision-making, organisationalprioritiesand effective portfolio outcomes.The role may also be assigned to work across the Government Services Branch.

About You

We'relooking for someone with:

- Government experience, with a strong understanding of parliamentary processes, executive administration,



and the machinery of government.

- Proactive and outcome-focused, with the ability toidentifypriorities and deliver with minimal direction.

- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in rapid-paced environments.

- Experience developing systems, processes, and reporting frameworks, includingestablishingnew approacheswhererequired.

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across all levels, including technical experts,executivesand minister’s offices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop practical solutions to complex issues.
