Situated on 2,000ha, the JBS Riverina Plant is a part of the Riverina integrated farming, feedlot and processing operation.
The cattle are walked from the feedlot to the plant, minimizing stress and transportation costs, while simultaneously improving eating quality – one of only two in the southern hemisphere.
Based just outside Yanco, between the popular townships of Leeton and Narrandera in the heart of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation district (or Riverina region), our location ensures the ability to source high quality feeder cattle and grain to produce premium beef.
The plant employs approximately 420 team members with a processing capacity of 600 head of cattle per day, operating 5 days per week.

About the Role
Our Riverina Plant is currently recruiting an experienced Kill Floor (Harvest) Foreperson to join the team in a full‐time capacity.
Reporting to the Harvest Supervisor,

Your key responsibilities will include:
Supervising all aspects of the Kill Floor/Follow On and Offal RoomEnsuring compliance with all WH&S; and Environmental regulationsEnsuring compliance with Quality Assurance and MSQA programmes and processesEnsuring revenue maximisation and cost controlEnsuring compliance with HR policies and proceduresEnsuring timely and accurate record keeping and information/paperwork flow
