Join the HEDSS Team as a permanent part time Disability Support Worker (112 hours per 4-week roster)We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide assistance and support to individuals with disabilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients with personal care, daily living activities, providing emotional support, and promoting independence and community integration.We have 3 SIL homes in Black Hill, Thornton and Salamander Bay (opening soon Mayfield).
We also provide Community Access.ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with daily living activities,



including personal care.Provide emotional support and companionship to clientsHelp clients with mobility and transportation needsAdminister medication and monitor health conditionsAssist with meal preparation and household tasksDevelop and implement individualized care plansCollaborate with healthcare specialists and family members to ensure the best possible care for clientsMaintain accurate records and documentationWhat We Are Looking ForMinimum Certificate III in Individual Support or minimum of 2 years' experienceComplex Care experience an advantageStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPatience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting independence and wellbeingAbility to handle challenging behaviors and situationsKnowledge of disability rights and advocacyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clientsMust have NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC and complete NDIS Orientation Module.A current First Aid & CPR certificate and a valid driver's licenceCommitment to making this your primary roster.Team Player
