We are currently recruiting a MR Driver/Labourer to join the Street Cleansing Team - working in one of Sydney's most beautiful bushland areas, surrounded by a supportive, qualified team and a council that truly values your contributionWorking as part of a multi-skilled team, carrying out a wide range of public cleansing tasks across the shire.Mon to Sun Monthly Roster (2 - 3 weekend shifts per month)Training, support and a positive team cultureOpportunities to grow your career in CouncilDuties include:Operating MR street sweeper trucks or a UteLitter and illegal dumping collectionCleaning of public toilets, bus shelters, and other council assetsUse of leaf blowers, pressure washers,



and other cleaning equipmentAd hoc cleaning and maintenance of public spacesFollowing rotating monthly rosters including weekendsThis is an outdoor, hands-on role where you'll take pride in keeping the Hornsby Shire clean and welcoming for the community.What we are looking for:Valid MR Drivers LicenceExperience in labouring, street cleaning, or waste services (preferred)Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual workAbility to follow procedures, work in a team, and represent council positivelyReliable, proactive and detail-orientedIf you're ready to roll up your sleeves and help keep Hornsby looking its best, we want to hear from you.
