including generatorsHydraulics and electrical components (preferred)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical diagnostics on a range of machinery and equipmentCarry out overhauls of transmissions, engines, steering systems, gearboxes and differential systemsRead and interpret service manuals and proceduresUse service inspection forms to diagnose and identify defective componentsPerform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenanceAttend breakdowns and carry out repairsUse diagnostic scan tools to identify mechanical faultsConduct inspections for roadworthy verificationMaintain a high standard of workmanship and safetyDemonstrate solid problem-solving skills and attention to detailWork independently and as part of a teamRequired Qualifications & LicencesCertificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalentHR/MR Driver's Licence (preferred but not essential)Forklift Licence (preferred)Unlimited working rights in AustraliaThis job prospect is open to candidates currently residing in Australia.
