Our butcher shop is growing and we are in need of a butcher to support our growth.Main tasks as Butcher:Ensure secure operation of equipment such as meat grinder and bandsawCutting,



preparation and presentation of produceEnsure compliance with food safety standards and halal methodsPreparing fresh meat cuts to the customer demand with the teamCut the meat and marinate in different stylesMaking the orders of restaurants and caterers as requestedFulfilling the cut and culinary tastes and demand of Muslim customers largely of sub-continent India, Pakistan and Bangladesh originCreate a welcoming workplace for staff and customersBe a team playerEnsure Meat Display Windows are clean and attractiveUse the trim and residue of meat properly to increase the profitabilityTrack and ensure correct packaging of customer orders for timely pick and/or delivery dailyRequirements:Have a minimum of 12 months experience working as a butcherBe able to provide recommendations to customers on the suitability of certain meat produceExcellent customer service and communication skillsFluency in EnglishResiding in Australia
