Workshop Boilermaker – Immediate Start About the Role Based in our fully equipped fabrication workshop in Paget, this hands-on role offers a variety of fabrication work across structural steel, aluminium, and stainless steel projects.
No two days are the same, making this a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys diverse workshop work and takes pride in producing high-quality results.
Duties & Responsibilities Fabrication and welding of structural steel, aluminium,
and stainless steelReading and interpreting engineering and fabrication drawingsWorking to strict quality and safety standardsOperating workshop machinery and fabrication toolsAssisting with fitting and assembly work as required What We're Looking For Trade-qualified Boilermaker (Cert III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)Robust workshop fabrication experienceAbility to accurately read and interpret fabrication/CAD drawingsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipReliable, motivated, and team-oriented attitudeAbility to successfully complete a weld test Highly Regarded Experience with MIG and TIG weldingForklift licencePrevious experience in heavy structural or mining-related fabrication What We Offer Immediate start availableLong-term opportunities with room for growthMonday to Friday work with overtime always availableHome every nightCompetitive hourly rates plus penaltiesSupportive and respectful team environmentModern workshop with excellent facilities Please note: This role is only suitable for applicants currently living in Mackay and holding full Australian work rights.
