NACCHO is seeking a motivated and collaborative Project Officer to support the delivery of the Period Product Program, helping ensure communities have access to essential period products through effective project coordination, stakeholder engagement and logistics management.
About NACCHO
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
About the Role
The Project Officer will play a key role in supporting successful delivery of the Period Product Program and where required, the Immunisation Program. You will broadly support high level project management, operations and logistics activities to contribute to the development and delivery of the period program and when needed the immunisation program, in line with established objectives.
Responsibilities of this role but not limited to:
- Contribute to the establishment, management and coordination of the Period Product Program to ensure smooth roll-out and delivery of programs.
- Support operations and logistics, including supplier management, contractor liaison, website orders and distribution planning.
- Contribute to the preparation of program reports, discussion papers, briefs and presentations
- Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including ACCHOs, Affiliates, peak bodies and Governments to support established project objectives.
About You
You are a cooperative and driven individual who is committed to making a meaningful impact. You will bring:
- A valid WWVP clearance and National Police check or ability to obtain.
- Work experience relevant to the role including procurement, contract management, operations and logistics skills.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Program management and strong stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills, MS Office skills and experience.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to manage tasks and projects under limited supervision.
