WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms and common areas
- Cleaning hallways, stairwells and entrances
- Cleaning cafeterias and shared areas
- Maintaining restrooms to a high standard
- Cleaning lifts and public areas
- Maintaining outdoor walkways
- Vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning
- Operating floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums and pressure washers
- Emptying bins and removing rubbish
- Restocking restroom and cleaning supplies




- Responding quickly to spills and cleaning requests
- Reporting maintenance issues and safety hazards
- Using and storing cleaning chemicals safely
- Following WHS procedures and wearing required PPE

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that the little details matter.

You must have:

✅ Minimum 6 months’ commercial cleaning experience in Australia

✅ Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

✅ Valid Police Check

✅ Australian work rights

✅ Robust attention to detail

✅ Good organisation and time management

✅ Ability to work independently

✅ Reliable and punctual attitude

✅ Ability to follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures

✅ Willingness to stay in Cairns for at least 12 months
