As a Qualified Baker at Bakers Delight, you will be responsible for

- Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs.

- Coaching and supporting the development of Apprentices.

- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery.

- Assisting with stock control and production expenses.

- Providing delightful customer service when required.

- Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight as per BDH recipe.

- Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.

- Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.

- Decorating baked goods with glazes, icings, and edible toppings.

- Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abide by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working setting for customers, staff and contractors.

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;

- Strong knowledge of deck ovens & baking.

- Experience with sourdoughs, hand molding, shaping,



cutting breads

- Mixing experience and understanding the process of sourdough and yeast doughs.

- Sound knowledge in weighing ingredients for different type of bread and pastry.

- Knowledge in a wide variety of different type of flours and seeds.

- At least 1.5 years' experience in the industry.

- Ability to work in a well-established team with efficiency and consistency.

- Have an eye for detail.

- Strong leadership skills.

- Strong work ethic.

- Sense of humor.

- A willingness to learn and learn FAST.
