You will be responsible for operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations to transport plant, equipment, and construction materials safely and efficiently between project sites while maintaining compliance with all transport regulations and company standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operating Float or Truck & Dog combinations between civil project sites
- Transporting plant, machinery, quarry materials, soil and other civil materials
- Safely loading, unloading and securing machinery and materials
- Conducting daily pre-start checks and basic preventative maintenance
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and serviceability
- Managing delivery schedules and site movements efficiently
- Complying with all Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
- Completing all required documentation including logbooks, pre-starts, and delivery dockets
- Working closely with site supervisors and project teams to support operations
About you
- Demonstrated experience operating Float and/or Truck & Dog combinations
- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
- Float Drivers must hold a current unrestricted MC Licence
- Truck & Dog Drivers must hold a current unrestricted HC Licence or above
- Solid understanding of load restraint, transport compliance, and fatigue management
- Civil construction or quarry haulage experience highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-focused, and motivated attitude
