As a Intermediate Accountant, you will work closely with our Directors and Associate Directors and will be key in delivering high quality services to our clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns for a wide and diverse range of clients and entity types.
- Assist with tax planning and advisory projects for clients (Support will be provided).
- Prepare accurate and high-quality communication to clients.
- Provide advice in relation to various tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax.
- Prepare and review quarterly and/or monthly activity statements.
- Prepare other statutory returns including Fringe Benefits Tax,
Payroll Tax and Single Touch Payroll.
- Identify and research various tax and accounting issues.
- Mentor junior staff and support colleagues to share information and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with clients and liaise with ATO and other government bodies.
About you
- 3+ years' experience in Public Practice.
- CA/CPA or working toward CA/CPA with a valuable academic record.
