What your days will look like

No two days will be exactly the same. Alongside producing high-quality residential construction documentation, you’ll work closely with the leadership team, helping improve systems, solve problems and influence how the drafting department evolves as the business grows.

You’ll be:

- Preparing detailed working drawings and construction documentation for new residential homes

- Coordinating consultant information including engineering, surveying and energy assessments

- Preparing documentation for building approvals and construction issue

- Ensuring plans comply with NCC, R-Codes and company standards

- Liaising with internal staff, consultants and suppliers to resolve documentation queries

- Improving drafting systems, templates and workflows as the business grows

- Helping build an efficient, scalable in-house drafting department

What they’re looking for





You’ll already have experience working as a Residential Draftsperson within the WA residential construction industry and enjoy producing accurate, high-quality documentation.

You’ll also bring:

- Strong knowledge of WA residential construction methods, NCC and R-Codes

- Experience producing working drawings and construction documentation

- Proficiency using ArchiCAD or Revit

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

- The confidence to work autonomously while collaborating closely with others

- A proactive mindset and the desire to contribute ideas, not just complete drawings
