Casual with Potential for Part-Time | Malaga office | Flexible

I’m looking for a switched on, organised and proactive Personal Assistant to work directly alongside me across my businesses, projects, property, and personal life. Not just someone who manages a calendar and hopes for the best.

I’m Chloe, a business owner with ventures across construction, business consulting, and media, including an established building company, a growing business consultancy, with a podcast studio and podcast currently in development. There is a lot happening, and that’s what makes this role a little different.

I’m looking for someone who can help keep things organised, keep things moving, and take ownership of the things that don’t necessarily need me as the owner to do them.

In return, you’ll work closely with me and be exposed to the reality of running businesses, managing people, developing recent ideas, building systems, and turning those ideas into something real.

If you’re early in your career and want to learn, there will be plenty of opportunity to do exactly that!

What you’ll be doing

On the business side, you’ll support across different ventures with administration, organisation, research, coordination, and follow ups. You’ll be involved in different projects as they develop and, where appropriate, have the opportunity to sit in on meetings and see how decisions are made behind the scenes.

That includes:

- Supporting the businesses with administration, organisation, research, coordination, and follow ups

- Sitting in on meetings where appropriate to see how decisions are made behind the scenes

- Helping stay on top of admin for a small property portfolio, including a home currently under construction, an apartment transitioning into a rental, as well as a commercial property

- Supporting personal and household admin, including appointments, bookings, errands, shopping, returns, and general life admin

- Organising my week and helping prioritise what needs attention

- Jumping between business tasks and personal tasks depending on what the day needs

No two weeks will necessarily look the same.

Who I’m looking for

I’m not looking for someone with ten years of Executive Assistant experience. I’m much more interested in finding someone with potential, initiative, and a great attitude who wants an opportunity to learn.

You might be studying, recently graduated, or a few years into your career and looking for something more interesting than a traditional admin role.

You’ll probably be a great fit if you’re:

- Naturally organised and good at keeping track of things

- Proactive and comfortable using your own initiative

- Resourceful, if you don’t know something you’ll figure out how to find the answer

- Confident communicating with different people

- Reliable and someone who follows through

- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems

- Trustworthy and discreet

- Curious about business and how things work

You don’t need to know how to do everything from day one. I’d rather find someone bright and capable who wants to learn, than someone who simply ticks every box on paper!

What you’ll get from it

This isn’t a role where you’ll be sitting on the sidelines just managing a calendar. You’ll get a front row seat to business.

You’ll see the wins, the problems, the decisions, the ideas that work, and probably some that don’t. You’ll get exposure across construction, business consulting, property, media, systems, operations, people and entrepreneurship, while working directly with the person making the decisions.

As your capability and confidence grow, so will your responsibility. For the right person, this is a role you can look back on and realise how much you learned while you were here.

The details

- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

- Location: Primarily in our Malaga office, with some work between Rivervale/Bedford and other locations as needed

- Flexibility: There is some flexibility around how the 20 hours are structured

- Remuneration: Based on experience

It is essential that you have a current driver’s license and reliable vehicle, as this isn’t a completely desk-based role.

How to apply

Please send through:

- Your resume

- A short introduction about yourself

- What you’re looking for at this stage of your career

- Why this role stood out to you

If you’re reading this ad and nodding along, I’d love to hear from you!
