About the Role

COLDREX AUSTRALIA PTY LTD T/A COLDREX COLD REGIONAL EXPRESS is seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee the productive, safe and compliant operation of the company’s vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will coordinate fleet maintenance, scheduling, compliance, utilisation and operational performance while supporting drivers and management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the day-to-day operations and utilisation of the company’s vehicle fleet.
2. Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, registrations and preventative maintenance.
3. Monitor fleet performance, operating costs, fuel usage and vehicle availability.
4. Develop and implement fleet maintenance and replacement schedules.
5. Ensure vehicles comply with relevant road transport, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
6. Coordinate vehicle allocation, scheduling and availability to support transport operations.
7. Liaise with mechanics, suppliers, contractors, insurers and other service providers.
8. Maintain accurate fleet records, including servicing, repairs, inspections, registrations and compliance documentation.
9. Monitor driver compliance with company policies, safety procedures and transport requirements.
10. Investigate vehicle incidents, breakdowns and operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency, reduce operating costs and maximise vehicle utilisation.
12. Prepare fleet reports, budgets and operational performance information for management.
13. Supervise and provide guidance to staff involved in fleet and transport operations.
14. Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are maintained across fleet operations.

Skills & Experience

1. Relevant qualifications in fleet management, transport management, logistics, business or a related field are desirable.
2. One year of experience managing commercial vehicle fleets and transport operations.
3. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, fleet compliance and operational procedures.
4. Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate maintenance and operational requirements.
6. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety and road transport compliance.
7. Proficiency in fleet management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
8. Ability to work independently and effectively within a busy transport environment.
