Rebates Revenue Operations Manager (RROM)
Todae Solar specialises in the design and installation of large-scale commercial solar electricity systems. We have an opportunity for a Rebates Revenue Operations Manager (RROM) to be based in Sydney.
The RROM is responsible for coordinating and optimising the processes, systems, and data that support the end-to-end revenue cycle for Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs) and Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs).
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Collaborate with internal teams involved in the delivery and installation of solar projects.
2. Work with Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA)-accredited designers and appropriately licensed electricians on the design and installation of renewable energy systems.
3. Provide SAA-accredited installers with guidance and resources to support compliance with applicable rebate and certificate eligibility requirements.
4. Coordinate with installers to obtain accurate and complete supporting documentation for rebate and certificate applications, including Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work, installation photographs, panel serial numbers and barcodes, inverter serial numbers, and other required information.
5. Review project details and applicable regulations to determine eligibility for the creation of Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs).
6. Ensure the accurate collection and maintenance of electricity generation data, system specifications, and other relevant information.
7. Ensure compliance with LGC scheme regulations, reporting obligations and record-keeping requirements.
8. Liaise with project owners, generators and prospective purchasers of LGCs.
9. Track LGC generation and identify opportunities to optimise certificate creation and associated revenue.
10. Monitor Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) applications to ensure submissions are accurate, complete and compliant with applicable requirements.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve rebate- and certificate-related matters.
12. Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for audits, compliance reviews and regulatory requirements.
13. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS), including the BESS3, BESS4 and BESS5 activities administered by IPART.
14. Develop proficiency in relevant certificate-creation and trading platforms, including Origin Energy’s Renew Eclipse portal.
15. Establish and maintain relationships with Accredited Certificate Providers (ACPs) to facilitate claims for BESS3, BESS4 and BESS5 activities under the PDRS.
16. Monitor the pricing and eligibility requirements of STCs, LGCs, Peak Reduction Certificates (PRCs), and other solar- and battery-related certificates through relevant accredited bodies and online portals.
17. Analyse current state and federal renewable-energy, solar, battery and certificate schemes as they are introduced, and assess their operational and commercial implications.
Skills
1. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, particularly when working with SAA-accredited installers, licensed electricians, clients and representatives of the Clean Energy Regulator.
2. Sound knowledge of solar-energy technologies and their impact on electricity generation.
3. Strong data-analysis skills, including the ability to interpret operational and performance metrics.
4.
Sound understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable-energy grid integration.
5. Ability to assess complex technical matters and translate findings into practical solutions that maximise LGC creation and revenue.
6. Proficiency in collecting, verifying and processing data for accurate STC and PRC applications.
7. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and optimise revenue outcomes.
8. Exceptional attention to detail, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience
1. Demonstrated understanding of STC and LGC scheme rules, regulations and eligibility requirements.
2. Knowledge of the PDRS and other emerging state-based solar, battery and energy-efficiency incentive schemes.
3. Experience calculating LGC entitlements using electricity-generation data and applicable scheme rules.
4. Proven ability to manage complex technical information and convert it into clear, actionable insights.
5. Advanced knowledge of solar-energy technologies, system design and grid-integration principles.
6. Proficiency in data analysis, power-system modelling and technical report writing.
7. Experience working with renewable energy certificates, government incentive schemes, rebate programs, or solar industry compliance will be highly regarded.
