Are you an experienced Telecommunications Field Technician looking for your next permanent career move?

We're looking for a Senior Field Technician to join a leading telecommunications provider in Cairns. You'll enjoy plenty of variety, autonomy in the field, and the opportunity to continue developing your technical skills with an established industry leader.

The Role: You'll install, maintain and repair telecommunications services across residential and business customer sites, working across fibre, copper and HFC technologies.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and resolving network and service faults
- Installing, maintaining and repairing telecommunications services
- Cabling, jointing, splicing and testing
- Managing your daily field workload and priorities
- Providing excellent customer service onsite
- Completing field documentation and job records
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards

About You
- Current ACMA Cabling Licence – essential




- Current Australian Driver's Licence – essential
- Previous telecommunications field experience
- Experience with fibre, copper and/or HFC networks
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
