ANZUK Education is proud to be partnering with a well-established community-focused sessional kindergarten in Camberwell to recruit an Educator for their specialised Pre-Prep Program.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team dedicated to providing children with a strong foundation for their transition to school.

Working alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher, you'll support the delivery of a play-based Pre-Prep program designed to build children's confidence, independence, literacy, numeracy, and school readiness skills. With a maximum group size of just 22 children, you'll have the chance to develop meaningful relationships and provide high-quality support in a calm and engaging learning environment.

About the Role As an Educator within the Pre-Prep Program, you will:

- Support the delivery of a high-quality educational program for children preparing to transition to school.
- Assist with implementing engaging literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning experiences.
- Observe, document, and support children's learning and development.
- Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with the Early Childhood Teacher and broader kindergarten team.
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth to ensure a positive transition to primary school.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:





- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
- Experience working within an Early Childhood setting, ideally a kindergarten or sessional kindergarten environment.
- Knowledge of the VEYLDF and school readiness programs.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A positive, nurturing, and collaborative approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's transition to school.

Please note: This position is only open to candidates holding a Certificate III or Diploma qualification. Applicants holding a Graduate Diploma, Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or Bachelor of Education will not be considered for this role.
Position Details

- Fixed-term position for Terms 3 & 4, 2026
- Potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract period
- 2-4 days per week (3 days preferred)
- Monday to Thursday
- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Salary and conditions in accordance with VECTEA
