Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join an ongoing role on a Sydney oil and gas site, with upcoming construction DIDO/FIFO project opportunities across NSW. Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems across the site
- Work on high pressure piping systems, including fitting, alignment, and installation
- Carry out flange management, including correct torque, bolting, and gasket procedures
- Pipe fitting and fabrication from isometric drawings and engineering specifications




- Fault-find and repair mechanical breakdowns on rotating and static equipment
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks in line with site schedules
- Work safely within permit-to-work, isolation, and confined space procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of completed work

Licences/experience required

- Trade qualification – Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, LVR/CPR, EWP (desirable)
- White Card
- Strong understanding of isolation (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems
- Willingness/availability for future DIDO/FIFO project work across NSW
