Essential Requirements

- Previous experience in parks, gardens, horticulture, landscaping, turf or outdoor maintenance
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work and manual handling




- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

Desirable

- Previous Local Government experience
- Certificate III in Parks & Gardens, Horticulture, Landscaping or a related field
- Experience operating ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, brushcutters and other grounds-maintenance equipment
- Sports field or turf maintenance experience
- Irrigation experience
- Chemical application / chemical handling tickets
- White Card
- MR or HR Licence
- Traffic Control tickets
- Chainsaw or other relevant equipment tickets
