Project Manager – Power Infrastructure NSW | Sydney & Regional Projects

Our client is an established mid-tier, NSW based infrastructure contractor expanding its capability across the power sector. With projects spanning metropolitan and regional NSW, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager who understands how to get electrical infrastructure built safely, commercially and successfully.
The opportunity You'll lead the delivery of power and electrical infrastructure projects across distribution, transmission and renewable energy environments.
You'll have responsibility for:

- Project planning, programs, budgets and delivery
- Electrical and power infrastructure construction
- Project teams, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers
- Client and network authority relationships
- Commercial performance, forecasting and cost control
- Variations, claims and contract administration
- Safety, quality and project risk
- Testing, commissioning, energisation and handover

This is not a desk-based PM role. You'll work closely with construction teams and customers and will need to be comfortable travelling to regional NSW projects when required.
What we're looking for Ideally,



you'll bring 5+ years' experience managing power infrastructure projects and a background in areas such as:

- Electricity distribution or transmission
- ASP Level 1 / Level 2 works
- HV infrastructure and substations
- Overhead or underground networks
- Utility infrastructure
- Renewable energy, BESS or grid connections

Experience working with Ausgrid, Endeavour Energy, Essential Energy, Transgrid or comparable network environments would be highly regarded.
You'll also need an Electrical Trade Qualification, Linesworker Qualification or Electrical Engineering Degree, together with strong commercial, stakeholder and safety leadership capability.
