About the Role
Working as part of our industrial maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for a range of asbestos removal and associated activities across the Gladstone region.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing A Class Asbestos Removal in accordance with legislative, safety and environmental requirements
- Constructing, maintaining and managing asbestos enclosures to ensure safe containment
- Assisting with asbestos clean-up, disposal and decontamination activities
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and site safety
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver safe and quality outcomes
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for experienced, reliable and safety-focused people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a team.
Essential:
- A Class and/or B Class Asbestos Removal Certification
- Construction White Card
- QAL / BSL / RTAY Blue Medipass, or willingness to obtain
- Previous asbestos removal experience
Highly regarded:
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
