We're on the hunt for a Duty Manager who can run a shift like a conductor runs an orchestra — calm, sharp, and always one step ahead of the chaos.
The Role
You'll be the go-to person on the floor — keeping service humming, the team motivated, and the whole venue running like clockwork, whether it's a quiet Tuesday lunch or a packed Friday night.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running shifts front-to-back, from opening checks to end-of-night reconciliation
- Leading, motivating and troubleshooting with the floor and bar team in real time
- Making sure RSA, WHS and licensing standards are upheld, every shift,
no exceptions
- Handling guest feedback (the positive, the bad, and the "can I speak to the manager") with a level head
- Managing cash handling, stock control and rostering basics on shift
- Being the calm in the storm when the pub is three-deep at the bar and the kitchen's slammed
You Are
- An experienced hospitality leader who thrives under pressure
- Current RSA (mandatory) — RCG highly regarded
- A natural problem-solver with sharp instincts and a cool head
- A genuine people-leader who brings the best out of a team on a big shift
- Reliable, hands-on, and just as happy behind the bar as you are on the floor
