Bookkeeper / Inventory & Wholesale Co-ordinator

About us

Homebodii is a sleepwear and brand selling direct to customers online and through retail and wholesale partners. We're a small, hands-on team, which means the person in this role gets real ownership of the numbers and the stock rather than one narrow slice of it.

The role

We're looking for a casual Bookkeeper / Inventory & Wholesale Co-ordinator to keep our books accurate, our stock counts honest and our wholesale orders moving out the door on time.

This is a genuinely blended role.

What you'll be doing

Bookkeeping (Xero)

- Day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations
- Raising and issuing wholesale invoices, and following up outstanding payments
- Reconciling Shopify payouts and other payment channels against Xero
- Supporting month-end close and getting clean records to our accountant
- Assisting with BAS/GST preparation

Inventory

- Maintaining accurate stock levels across Shopify and our warehouse
- Receipting inbound stock, investigating and correcting variances
- Running and reconciling stocktakes and cycle counts
- Flagging low stock,



slow movers and discrepancies before they become problems

Wholesale co-ordination

- Processing wholesale orders end to end - order entry, allocation, picking priorities, dispatch
- Being the point of contact for wholesale stockists on orders, stock availability and delivery timing
- Preparing the paperwork that goes with wholesale shipments
- Keeping wholesale pricing, terms and customer records up to date

What we're looking for

Essential

- Demonstrated bookkeeping experience, with hands-on Xero experience
- Experience with inventory / stock management in a product-based business
- Working knowledge of Shopify, particularly orders and inventory
- Strong attention to detail - you notice when a number doesn't look right and you chase it down
- Confident communicating with suppliers, stockists and internal team
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable in a small business where priorities shift

Nice to have

- Experience in retail, e-commerce, fashion or homewares
- Exposure to wholesale or B2B ordering
- Experience with a 3PL or warehouse operation
- Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting, or equivalent experience
