Electrical Mechanic X 2 - Submissions By 20th August

Our client is a global leader in the supply and support of heavy equipment and industrial machinery, serving the construction, mining, quarrying and forestry industries. They provide a comprehensive range of machinery, equipment solutions and aftermarket support, including maintenance, parts, technology and equipment management services.

Hours: This role involves both day and night shift, including some weekends and the possibility of on call/call out and after hour responses.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Electrical Mechanic you will be responsible for the below duties:

- Install and maintain traffic signals, street lighting and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in accordance with Departmental plans and specifications and ensure compliance with the Electrical Safety Act and AS/NZS Wiring Rules.
- Carry out specified activities or tasks according to departmental plans, specifications and works orders, and in compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations.
- Monitor safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment and to ensure compliance with Electrical and Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
- Liaise with other authorities where necessary for effective co-ordination of electrical construction and maintenance activities.




- Perform work which while primarily involving the skills of the employee's trade is incidental or peripheral to the primary task and facilitates the completion of the whole task such incidental or peripheral work would not require additional formal technical training.

What You Will Need

- Drivers Licence + reliable transport
- Construction White Card
- Have a current CPR and LVR ticket
- Able to undergo and pass a pre employment medical
- Current electrical trade qualification
- MR drivers licence (desirable)
- EWP ticket over 11m (desirable)

- $48.25 - $50.41/hr + penalties
- 9 day fortnight!
