About Us

At Astris PME, we provide specialised mobility and assistive equipment that helps people live more independently. Our workshop team plays a key role in assembling, repairing, and customising equipment that makes a real difference every day.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands‑on workshop role where no two days are the same. You’ll assemble new equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and customise solutions to meet client needs.

If you enjoy practical work, problem‑solving, and building things, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Assemble, repair, and customise mobility and assistive equipment
- Prepare equipment for client trials and demonstrations




- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard
- Modify and adjust equipment to suit individual client needs
- Clean, sanitise, charge, and maintain returned equipment
- Keep the workshop organised, safe, and well‑presented
- Work closely with sales and operations teams

About You

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or hands‑on technical background who enjoys working with their hands. You’ll bring:

- Experience in assembly, mechanical repairs, or workshop environments (e.g. automotive, bikes, equipment, or similar)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
- Pride in producing high‑quality, reliable work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Current driver’s licence
