Do work that matters

As Manager, Wealth & Private Finance, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Wealth & Private business within Retail Banking Services. This portfolio includes Insurance & Retail Advice Partnerships, Guidance & Investing and Commonwealth Private, supporting affluent and high-net-worth customers through specialist banking, wealth, investing and insurance solutions.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Wealth & Private Finance, you’ll provide financial management, reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis to help drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.

Retail Banking Services Finance partners closely with business leaders across the Bank to deliver insights, support financial performance and help create sustainable shareholder value.

You’ll join RBS Distribution Finance, a team focused on partnering with product and distribution businesses while providing objective analysis, advice and decision support. The team plays an important role in planning, reporting, forecasting and helping leaders improve financial performance, operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Your impact

In this role, you will:

- Deliver key financial processes across the Wealth & Private portfolio, including performance reporting, forecasting and monthly financial control activities.
- Support financial modelling and analysis to help influence optimal financial, operational and strategic decisions.




- Provide insightful financial and business analysis for Wealth & Private leadership and RBS Finance stakeholders.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis and commercial insights on business performance, operational drivers and market dynamics.
- Use Tableau and other visualisation tools to improve insight generation and reporting quality.
- Build productive relationships with Finance and non-Finance stakeholders across RBS Finance and Wealth & Private.
- Contribute to process improvement, simplification and cross-skilling across the team.
- Support a customer-focused, high-performing and collaborative team culture.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

- Experience in finance, commercial analysis, management reporting or business partnering.
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to synthesise large datasets into explicit, actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing financial analysis and business-ready reporting.
- Exposure to Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- Financial services experience, ideally within banking, is preferred but not essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications such as CA or CPA.
