Casual Retail Assistant & Administration Support

Location: Swimart Tingalpa

Employment Type: Casual

Hours: 3 days a week / 24hrs per week (9am-5pm)

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Casual Retail Assistant to join our small business. This is a varied role that combines customer service and retail duties with some general administration and office support.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and be comfortable helping wherever needed in a small-business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Customer Service

- Welcoming and assisting customers
- Processing sales and handling payments
- Answering customer enquiries in person, by phone and email
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming retail area
- Restocking products and assisting with stock control




- Unpacking orders and general retail duties

Administration

- Data entry and updating records
- Filing and general office administration
- Answering phones and responding to emails
- Preparing documents, invoices or other basic paperwork
- Assisting with stock, ordering and supplier administration
- Providing general support to the business owner and team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Comfortable using POS software and Microsoft office software
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Accurate and attentive to detail
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
- Previous retail or administration experience is essential.
