About the Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre

We are a client-centred organisation, supporting the community throughout Barwon, Wimmera, and the South West regions, offering a range of specialist support services to people impacted by sexual and family violence, encompassing 24 hour crisis care, specialist response services, early intervention programs, Victims Assistance Program, Community Legal Services, trauma recovery programs, professional training and primary prevention initiatives.

About The Role

The WSWFVP MARAM Coordinator role has been established to deliver a streamlined, systemicapproach to family and sexual violence sector development and support across the Wimmera andSouth West.

The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of MARAM alignment activities withprescribed organisations and services in the Wimmera and South West region, which

- raise understanding of MARAM alignment amongst organisations
- improve organisational buy-in and compliance with requirements under MARAM
- improve embedding of MARAM in organisation governance structures and at the systems level.

The position will lead and advise on organisational and system-level change managementinitiatives that contribute to improvements with MARAM Alignment and Information sharing. The position will also progress initiatives that contribute to the development of an evidence basefor monitoring MARAM alignment progress, support cross-sector consistencies in organisationalalignment, support system infrastructure for MARAMIS alignment and target MARAMIS alignmentactivities for priority sectors.

The successful candidate will be required to maintain a current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check at their own expense.

Key Selection Criteria

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Your application must address the following:

- Tertiary qualifications in social work, community development and/or a social policy discipline and/or relevant experience.
- Experience in leading organisational change management projects.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

- Experience in leading organisational change management projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Multi Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework, including FVISS and CISS,



and the broader family violence reform environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of family violence including an understanding of issues relating to the gendered nature of family and sexual violence and intersectionality, and family violence in rural, regional and remote communities.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills, including the preparation of reports and tailoring communications to relevant stakeholders.
- Experience in training delivery.
- Experience planning, implementing and evaluating projects.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Capacity to exercise initiative as well as to work effectively within a team environment.
- Capacity for occasional travel across the Wimmera and South West region.

Referees

Applicants must provide the name and current contact details of 2-3 professional referees including the most recent or current supervisor.

Period of Appointment

This position is fixed term until 30 June 2027.

Hours of work

- The position is part time or full time (0.8 – 1.0 EFT).
- Hours will usually be worked during business hours of 9.00am to 5.06 pm between Monday to Friday.
- Location of the position is in Horsham or Warrnambool(hybridworking arrangements available as per policy).
- Occasional travel to service locations in the Wimmera or South West region.
- The days are based on the needs of the service.
- Flexibility in working hours will be required from time to time as the need arises.

Salary and Conditions

Annual salary range is SCHADS level 6 pay point 1. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Industrial Instrument: The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre Enterprise Agreement 2023.

Salary Packaging: Provided via Maxxia. PBI status with other expenses available to package above this cap. The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre is a Public Benevolent Institution.

Superannuation: The employer will also make superannuation payments on your behalf in accordance with theSuperannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.

Probationary Period – 6 months with a review conducted during this time.
