WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Trade Marketing Executive/Specialist to join our APAC team at Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). This hands-on role serves as a brand custodian in the Asia-Pacific markets.
The role will actively contribute to regional trade marketing planning and will be responsible for the execution of trade marketing campaigns and activities, delivering against agreed timeframes and budgets. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Position, protect and manage the NCL brand in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
- Actively contribute to annual trade marketing planning and help lead the end-to-end execution of trade marketing campaigns and activity.
- Develop and implement effective marketing communication strategies across owned and paid channels, aimed at NCL’s travel partners.
- Support the Marketing Coordinator with owned communications, including reviewing, building and distributing trade emails and overseeing NCL’s trade Facebook page.
- Assist in the content management and promotion of NCL’s trade marketing platform (Norwegian Central) and trade rewards program (Partners First Rewards) in owned and paid channels.
- Produce a variety of sales support materials (brochures, flyers, selling tools) on time and to budget.
- Ongoing copyrighting and editing support for marketing collateral and communications including brochures and trade eDMs.
- Assist the Trade Marketing Manager with the coordination and execution of co-op campaigns (B2C) with key trade partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the NCL offices globally, and the APAC Sales teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Tourism (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years experience in marketing, trade marketing or partnership marketing.
- Thorough understanding of marketing planning processes, campaign development and execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organised, with strong time and project management skills.
- Confident juggling competing priorities and shifting between various trade projects.
- Efficient working style, with the proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build effective working relationships across teams and markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with Adobe Suite (including Photoshop) and CRM platforms.
- A positive, adaptable, and proactive mindset, along with a team-centric mindset.
